Our guided walking tours are designed to provide you with an understanding of the people, events and culture that shaped San Antonio, from its founding to more modern times. Our tour guides take participants past stunning public art installations and fascinating historic sites which help tell the cultural story of this wonderful city. Our guided walking tours are great introductions to San Antonio and perfect complements to one of our bicycle tours.

- Price Includes: Blue-tooth earpiece, use of backpack and a tour guide.
- Tour Route & Length: Our walking tours are 3 miles in distance and last 2.5 to 3 hours. The routes vary depending on the walking tour selected. All tours involve walking along downtown sidewalks, sidewalks along watercourses, crossing streets, ramps and some stairs (depending on tour selected). Alternate routes and/or ramps are available in some areas if stairs are an issue. Please click on tour titles to view additional details for each tour.
- Tour Start Locations: Our walking tours start/end at two different locations, dependent on tour selected. History Through Art starts and ends at Main Plaza. Heart of Old San Antonio and Historic Church Tour start and end at Alamo Plaza. Please see details in the Tour Location and Maps section below. Details will also be provided in confirmation and reminder emails.

Alamo Plaza:
313 Alamo Plaza, San Antonio, Tx 78205 Start and end location for Heart of Old San Antonio Please meet your guide at Alamo Plaza, which is the area in front of the Alamo in downtown San Antonio. Look for your guide near the Southwestern corner (313 Alamo Plaza) which is close to the South Gate and Lunette structure. Alamo Plaza is within walking distance of many downtown hotels. If you are driving your vehicle downtown, please research public parking options before your tour. There are several public parking options within walking distance of Alamo Plaza. Parking fees vary by location and the duration of your stay in the parking lot. You are responsible for locating parking and for any related fees. Please allow plenty of time to secure parking and walk to Alamo Plaza for the tour.

115 E Main Plaza, San Antonio, Tx 78205 Start and end location for History Through Art Tour Please meet your guide in the middle of Main Plaza or Plaza de las Islas Canarias, which is the plaza in front of San Fernando Cathedral in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Your guide will be standing in between San Fernando Cathedral and the access stairs to the Riverwalk. Main Plaza is within walking distance of many downtown hotels. If you are driving your vehicle downtown, please research public parking options before your tour. There are several public parking options within walking distance of Main Plaza. Parking fees vary by location and the duration of your stay in the parking lot. You are responsible for locating parking and for any related fees. Please allow plenty of time to secure parking and walk to Main Plaza for the tour.
